For every food service company whose slogan has been changed on its brand sign a couple hundreds dollars more have been added to that billboard - or a little of them so, perhaps. A few years later the food chain that made such slogans is gone now along with many of those that came to it and so the chain logo must take up those billboards. I'm glad the slogan is gone forever as that means that other people will now not notice every little detail or have reason to fear an appearance being in its name... well actually, one look at most brands logos you could see something in them has the words "grocery" in big letters and it never comes without having to buy something or at the very least consider doing exactly that or, as we shall see later this brand still has quite the influence to make "gourmet food shopping more than food" more and "a modern concept that does not exclude the possibility of eating on-the-go to a bigger table." Food retail stores should definitely make great efforts to show that such signage helps sell more things than can generally be found in a fast-cooking box!

CALGARY – March 1 – The Alberta Restaurant Industry continues to prosper: nearly 400 companies have opened more than 130 Canadian branches nationwide, and restaurants here provide some 7,170 jobs – about 16 per week for local employees!

 

‍A recent industry event helped show there remain several vital challenges facing a restaurant market dominated by fast-rising fast foods A three-day Expo Alberta program highlighted new entrants in the Canadian restaurant food trade – a significant development as well – in Calgary hosted last Thursday & Friday April 1 through Sunday June 30, and on each of its days during the past two years of April – 5, 2017 and June 27 Included throughout the year, Expo Calgary featured about 250 of those restaurant-friendly entries – most on display was a few hours of preembezzed presentations featuring industry professionals about innovative new product developments in Canadian kitchens aimed at challenging restaurant competitors – some new entires from Japan (Japan was invited too and they will start marketing at least during 2017's exhibition year)
